  1. 1Select an image from your device.
  2. 2Enter a width and height, keep the aspect ratio linked if needed, and choose PNG, JPEG, or WebP.
  3. 3Resize the image, check the exact output dimensions, and download it.

Best for

Exact pixel requirements, smaller or larger display dimensions, square images, portrait graphics, and widescreen images.

Privacy

The selected image is decoded and resized locally in your browser and is not uploaded to an iLoveIMG server.

Resize an image by width and height

Resizing changes the number of pixels in the output image. Enter the width and height you need, or choose a common preset. With Keep aspect ratio turned on, changing one dimension automatically recalculates the other from the original image proportions.

Resize vs crop vs compress

CompressReduces file size in KB, preserving dimensions when practical

  • Turning off aspect-ratio lock can stretch or squeeze the visible content when the target proportions differ from the source.

Questions

How do I resize an image online?

Choose an image, enter the width and height you need, choose an output format, resize it, and download the result.

Can I resize an image to exact pixels?

Yes. Enter an exact width and height, or use one of the dedicated exact-size pages for a fixed output such as 1080 × 1080 or 1920 × 1080 pixels.

How do I resize an image without stretching it?

Keep aspect ratio turned on. The second dimension will update automatically from the original image proportions.

What happens if I turn off aspect ratio?

Width and height can then be changed independently. If the new proportions differ from the source, the visible image will be stretched or squeezed to fit the exact output canvas.

What is the difference between resizing and cropping?

Resizing changes pixel dimensions. Cropping removes content outside a selected area so you can choose which part of the image remains visible.

Is my image uploaded when I resize it?

No. The selected image is decoded, resized, and encoded locally in your browser.
